Company history   Some background information... ...on setting up and developing the first components of a modern, modular storage system in cooperation with the Daimler-Benz AG, Stuttgart An old forester's lodge served as the company's first registered office; Our start-up equipement consisted of an answering machine and a second hand type-writer. We initially sold radios and television sets. During that time, a full-time job at a retail shop in Darmstadt kept us afloat; System "DOLBY" and "INLINE" tube remain for ever unforgotten. There was no start-up capital, the well-to-do family adopted an attitude of reserve, the bankers did not smiled, but friends came to our rescue. A competitor filed an injunction suit... through three instances, but the invaluable support and assistance we received from Daimler-Benz AG in implementing our idea kept us motivated to continue.
